After School Education and Safety (ASES)
The After School Education and Safety (ASES) program is grant funded through the California Department of Education. The grant was made possible by the passage of Proposition 49. Tustin Unified's contracted partner provider for the ASES program is California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), Titans ASES.
ASES is a free program for TUSD students enrolled in 1st through 8th grade. The program is open each day school is in session, and participants attend the program from school dismissal until 5:45/6:00 PM. Participation is available to students enrolled during the school day at the ASES program site and is subject program capacity.
Students are served a nutritious meal that conforms to state and district nutritional standards. Titans ASES Instructors collaborate with principals and classroom teachers to support student homework and reading. District aligned educational and enrichment activities & clubs are also provided along with daily structured recreational activities.
If you have questions regarding this free after school program, please contact Laurie Jimenez, ASES Teacher on Special Assignment, 714-730-7301 Ext. 388, or by email at ljimenez@tustin.k12.ca.us.
